Kalinda’s Perspectives on Perspectives
Kalinda’s Perspectives on Perspectives is about how each of us can change how we live and how we think by making changes about what we do and what we think.
Perspective is your point of view. Where are you? What do you do? What do you see? Nothing is more important to your point of view than your own perspective.

Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact.
Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.
Marcus Aurelius
The words by Marcus Aurelius are a powerful statement about how each of us hears opinions, not facts, and sees perspectives, not truths.
Let’s take one more step to ask another question about perspectives. How do we see our perspectives on ourselves based on other people’s perspectives?
One example is to recognize that you can change your perspective on the feeling that you are stuck in your life even if other people continue to claim that their perspectives define you. Whatever your situation, you can choose to go beyond your stuck perspectives. One way is to think of the meanings of words on your point of view. Can you think about what you feel stuck about and change your viewpoint, or your standpoint, or your position, or your angle, or your outlook, or your frame of reference, or your turn of mind?
Changing perspectives on any part of your life can change your life. No matter what particular situation you are experiencing at any time, you always have the capacity to change some perspective in your life.
